4 years after the release of her Flavors of Entanglement and being married with the rapper Mario “MC Souleye” Treadway, multi-platinum, Grammy award winning singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress Alanis Morissette is back on the limelight to launch her seventh (7th) studio album on August 2012 entitled Havoc and Bright Lights. But before the launch of her highly anticipated album two months from now, she already launch the carrier single of her album entitled “Guardian,” which is now available to download via www.mymusicstore.com.ph.
Alanis Morissette was the person behind the hit songs Ironic, Head Over Feet, Uninvited, You Oughta Know, Thank You, Hand in My Pocket and many more that gives her 16 Juno Awards and seven Grammy Awards. She also ventured to acting and appeared in various TV series like Sex and the City, Nip/Tuck, Weeds and Up All Night. Aside from the single “Guardian”, the songs included in her 12-track album are Woman Down, ‘Til You, Celebrity, Empathy, Lens, Spiral, Numb, Havoc, Win and Win, Receive, and Edge of Evolution.
