As Samsung Galaxy S III (S3) arrives in the Philippine market by June 2012, SMART will be accepting pre-orders starting May 23. As of now there’s no information yet on what postpaid plan it will fall, but with the clues that Smart Cares Twitter Account (@smartcares); unlimited mobile Internet, plus free texting and call minutes, it is possible free in Postpaid Plans: Smart Unli Data Plan 3000, Smart Unli Data Plan 4000 and Smart All-In Plan 3500. But still this is not a confirmation on what Postpaid Plan that Samsung Galaxy S III will be free until SMART officially posted it on their website.
Samsung Galaxy S III is an Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) powered smartphone of Samsung Mobile with TouchWiz “Nature UX” UI that has the dimension of 136.6 mm (5.38 in) x 70.6 mm (2.78 in) x 8.6 mm (0.34 in). It is available in 16/32/64 GB flash memory with external memory up to 64 GB microSDXC. It comes in two colors; marble white and pebble blue, it has a Smart Stay feature that make screen remains “on mode” when the user looks at the screen, otherwise it sleeps. It also has Direct Call, Pop Up Play, S Voice, Buddy Photo Sharing, Allcast Share Dongle, and Group Cast features that will cater the needs of consumers who wanted to extend mobility to the level of multitasking for work and can still enjoy its multimedia functionality.
It also offers additional 50 GB of space on the Dropbox service for the consumers who can store extra content like photos, music, video and other files that can be sync via 3G/GPRS or WIFI connection. The screen of the Samsung Galaxy S III is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 that secures crispier and detailed images, scratch resistance and endurance and greater touch sensitivity. It has 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.9 megapixels front camera. It operates in 1.4 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 with 1 GB RAM and with 2100 mAh lithium-ion battery can last up to 24 hours standby.
