Despite of the opposition of the some of the religious groups on her concert here in the Philippines because of the allegation of being the anti-Christ and bringing bad examples through her songs, the first day of Lady Gaga’s The Born This Way Ball in SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City pushes through. Thousands of her “little monsters” or fans flock at the newly opened SM Arena last May 21 to witness her extravagant and unforgettable concert which is part of her world tour, but unfortunately among the countries mentioned in his website (http://www.ladygaga.com), Indonesia cancelled Lady Gaga’s concert in Jakarta because of the venue issue. Here in the Philippines, her concert was produced by the Ovation Production and will be having its second day tonight (May 22) 8PM.
In line with the Lady Gaga concert in Manila, SMART Communications unveils the first Foursquare Badge in the Philippines which they called the Live More badge which was unlocked 15 minutes before the gates of SM Arena finally opened to the fans. SMART also gives away mosh pit (monster pit) tickets to some of the Lady Gaga fans that cost around Php 15, 000 each.
Lady Gaga knows how to play with the imagination of her fans where her production team builds a castle on stage and actually the façade moves in some of her numbers showing some more detailed 2nd floor of the castle where she can freely move and walk aside from the top of the castle.
