After the success of Kimmy Dora in 2009 with Eugene Domingo, Ariel Ureta, Dingdong Dantes, and Zanjoe Marudo as written by Chris Matinez under the direction of Joyce Bernal, they’re back this June 2012 for the Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kyeme. This is the sequel of Kimmy Dora and now has a perfect blend of horror and comedy to make it more exciting as it premieres on June 13, 2012 in all cinemas nationwide. The comedy horror film is distributed by Spring Films and Star Cinema.
From the rivalry between Go Dong Hae twins namely Kimmy and Dora both played by Eugene Domingo, the focus of the film now moves to the arranged marriage for their father Don Luisito Go Dong Hae played by Ariel Ureta to a lady with Korean descent which it doesn’t happen because he met Kimmy and Dora’s mother. During their visit in South Korea where the production actually shoots almost half of the scenes there, the Go Dong Hae must pay homage to their ancestors and with Don Luisito’s wish he wanted them to return every year and make it a family tradition. But after their visit, the ghost of the woman that their father must marry goes back with them in the Philippines and begins to haunt their family. Now it’s up to Kimmy and Dora to face the ghost and put her soul to rest.
