If only I don’t have anything to do that day I will be joining the competition with my friends and with Bactidol I will be singing my way to Php 20, 000 for 12 hours or maybe more than that. Yes, you heard it right 12 hours of singing non-stop this was the challenge of Bactidol in their recent activity at the Red Box in Eastwood last March 31 entitled 12 Hour Sing-a-thon Challenge. This was Bactidol’s way to show how long their product can keep you going having no problem with sore throat even in a 12 hour or more singing non-stop with your friends on a videoke bar and having that fun bonding you always wanted.
There were 20 groups with at least 10 members each joined the event last Saturday and all of them brought home the prize because none of them were disqualified. I had the chance to see all the participants and I really enjoyed their energy even I really came late around 10PM which only two hours left before the closing of the event. For the record they started singing from 12PM until 12am the following day and they still have that energy and excitement which Filipinos are very known for and their love for singing. That’s why it is rare for every Filipino home not to have a karaoke or videoke equipments that they can use in occasions like birthday, Christmas, town fiestas, New Year or even Saturday family and barkada bonding. But of course having that singing talent that we all have doesn’t secure us from sore throat that is why Bactidol is there to save the day which was the mouth care used at the 12 hour sing-a-thon in Red Box that is why they all won the challenge.
Aside from the 12 hour singing marathon, there are also challenges headed by our favorite (mine too) Monster Radio RX 93.1 DJs Chico Garcia and Delamar of the Morning Rush who stayed from 11am until the final hours of the event. They have singing showdowns for some the participants who wanted to win extra prizes like Bactidol gift packs and Sodexo gift certificates for lucky winners. While the Bactidol team documented group efforts which will be uploaded soon at the official Bactido Facebook (www.facebook.com/bactidol).
Everyone went home happy after surviving the competition and of course the 12 hour bonding moments that everyone wanted and so is Bactidol seeing this possibility that videoke event is something that friends can really enjoy. There were groups who joined where actually having their baby shower at the competition; some were classmates and orgs way to enjoy the closing of the school year and of lastly friends, families and officemates enjoying their weekend break with a 12 hour singing marathon. With all the fun, energy and non-stop singing Bactidol the number 1 choice to kick that sore throat away is there to make it more memorable and enjoying.
Congratulations to the Bactidol team for the successful event last March 31 at the Red Box Eastwood and I hope next year I’ll tag my friends along to join the next 12 hour sing-a-thon without worrying sore throat or mouth problems that will stop us for singing and having fun.
