After being recognized as a child-friendly TV Station by the Anak TV Foundation, ABS-CBN takes this responsibility on bringing this value to higher level by launching the Bida Best Kid campaign. The goal of the Bida Best Kid is to promote and produce values-oriented programs to Filipino children to provide them values and empower them as kids aside from the entertainment that the shows under the banner of campaign offers. The Bida Best Kid campaign will be launch during the show of ASAP 2012 on March 18.
Shows included in the Bida Best Kid campaign in ABS-CBN primetime series “E-Boy” and “Wako Wako’” educational program “Matanglawin,” weekend fantasy series “Wansapanataym,” weekday morning cartoon programs “Sailor Moon” and “Naruto” and weekend Nickelodeon and Marvel titles such as “Penguins of Madagascar” and “X-Men.” Aside from ABS-CBN the campaign go beyond to other Kapamilya platforms including the free TV channel Studio 23, anime cable TV channel Hero TV, and a free TV channel for kids to be offered on ABS-CBN Digital TV when the government gives the go-signal for the roll out.
With the Bida Best Kid campaign, it will give the parents the security that their children is watching rightful shows that offers them proper knowledge and good values. It also gives the children the aspirations to become the best that they can be, whether in academics, arts, or sports. Though this shows it also gives the parents the time to bond with their children while watching the Bida Best Kid certified programs.
And in ASAP 2012, the Bida Best Kid Station ID will be launched together with Zaijan Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Bugoy Cariño, Yogo Singh and the Junior Master Chef Pinoy Edition Final 4. There will be also simulcast launch on Studio 23 and Hero TV (SkyCable channel 44).
