After one week of rest, the Showtime family is back on the noontime slot replacing the defunct Happy Yipee Yehey that aired its final episode last February 4. Still part of the hosting team of the all new It’s Showtime are Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza, Karylle, Vice Ganda, Teddy Corpuz, and Jugs Jugueta. Joining them are ex-hurados and now hosts Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, and Coleen Garcia. It airs Monday to Saturday at 11:30am on ABS-CBN after the Kapamilya Blockbuster.
With the return of It’s Showtime in the noon time schedule, the newly launch teleserye Mundo Man Ay Magunaw was moved to 2:30PM timeslot. The variety game show will still showcase the talent search theme where they are now focusing on the talents of different schools from various regions in the country. With a longer airing time, It’s Showtime will be including games that requires audience participations and same with home viewers. One of their segments includes the Arte Mo that includes audience participation and the chance to bring home prizes.
As of now, the It’s Showtime team is working on more segment to make the show more interactive and fun to make it more appealing to the bigger audience that is in the lunch time schedule. As part of their campaign before the official announcement of their return on TV last January 30 is the It’s Showtime Unkabogable Party Party Bus that visited key areas in Metro Manila including Luneta Park, Pasig, Marikina, and Monumento in Caloocan City.
