As of September 2011, there are 253 more reported cases of AIDS (acquired immune-deficiency syndrome) in the Philippines that leads to the total of 7,684 of people living with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). With all the news we see and hear from the print, radio, TV and online we gain AWARE-ness and we were MOVED with this alarming issues on HIV/AIDS where everyday 8 our of 10 were infected with the virus because of unprotected penetrative sex, transfusion of infected blood through sharing syringe and worse infected mother through her child. We are challenged to ACT against the spread of the virus by taking the test and spreading the awareness to everyone, but now we are asked to COMMIT to do more in combating HIV/AIDS.
Through the Project Headshot Clinic, everyone is called to pledge themselves by joining this activity and let Niccolo Cosme, a visionary and a fellow HIV/AIDS awareness advocate take your photos and post it on your social networks as a sign of support of the Zero HIV campaign of UNAIDS.
This is a by invitation event where for those who wanted to join must register and answer some questions that will qualify them to join the Project Headshot Clinic which will happen this November. Visit http://timeforsomerandr.com/registration/?page_id=2 to register.
