Two weeks ago, Starbucks Coffee introduces four new Breakfast sandwiches that cost P110 each. To be honest, I am a fan of their Forest Ham where I usually ordered for lunch or dinner especially when I am on the go and doesn’t have much time for a 30 minute or an hour full meal. With that kind of grab and go lifestyle and schedule, I find breakfast sandwiches that are available all day handy and a big help. Unfortunately, my favorite Forest Ham was replaced with one of the new sandwiches that Starbucks introduced and I did enjoyed it along with the other three.
The four new sandwiches that they introduced in all their stores have a variation of taste and buns that blends well together with its fillings and caters to all. New sandwiches include Spam, Egg and Cheese in Cornmeal Bread, Turkey and Chicken Ham, Egg White and Emmenthal Cheese on Whole Wheat Cornmeal Bread, Vigan Longaniza, Egg and Mozzarella on White Wheat Pandesal, and Spinach, Artichoke, Mushroom and Mozzarella on Rye Bread. Each sandwich is perfect in any Starbucks beverages but of course being a bias Macchiato I should be saying that you should order your sandwiches with it or try Starbucks Crème Brulee Frappe that is now available in their stores.
This sandwich replaces my favorite White Forest Ham breakfast sandwich in Starbucks. But still have that comforting flavor of mild salty fillings on a sweet and rich of the whole wheat cornmeal bread. This breakfast sandwich has sinfully mouthwatering slices of turkey and chicken ham with melted Emmenthal cheese and egg white on toasty warmed whole wheat cornmeal bread. One thing I like with this sandwich aside it is good for those cholesterol conscious diners of Starbucks where it only contains white egg and protein rich turkey and chicken ham is that I am a person who is particular on how egg is prepared, I don’t like the yolk especially if it’s not well done or sometimes I don’t like it at all.
Talking about healthy sandwiches, this breakfast sandwich is more incline to the vegetarian and health conscious diners of Starbucks. It contains delicious blend of cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushrooms, garlic and onions on crusty warm artisan rye bread that compliments to zen iced tea. It is also a good option for those who are in a diet because of the rye bread is has large amount of fiber, little on fat and doesn’t create high spikes in blood sugar.
This breakfast sandwich is very common to us and I am positive that this one will have automatic patrons because Spam is very popular to us food loving Filipinos. It contains juicy Spam, creamy scrambled egg and cheese in cornmeal bread that is very comporting in anytime of the day because of its flavor that most of us really love.
It is a fusion of Filipino-American taste. This is my favorite breakfast sandwich of Starbucks because of the unique and distinct taste of the sliced Vigan Longaniza that has a mixture of sweet, salty and mild garlic taste that compliments with the mozzarella cheese and creaminess of scrabbled egg. The soft and rich white wheat pandesal adds to the flavor of the fillings that is worth to order on your next visit at Starbucks Coffee.
Aside from that Starbucks also releases French Toast with Maple Syrup for those who really wanted to enjoy their breakfast at Starbucks that fits deliciously on brewed coffee. It cost P95 for two slices of large, moist and buttery bread that will really brighten up your day before heading to work or school. It is available in all Starbucks store except in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo and Naga.
