Zynga is known as one of the famous developer of online games especially for Facebook. Among the games that they developed where Farmville, Cityville, Empires & Allies and The Pioneer Trail that most of the Facebook users devout much of their time online playing this games. Now Zynga takes a bigger step as they partner with Pizza Hut and World Food Programme in the World Hunger Relief activity this year. This global project against hunger is a joint project of YUM Brands Inc where Pizza Hut is part of the company including KFC and Taco Bell.
This year Yum Brands aims to raise funds that will help WFP in reaching out to million of hungry people worldwide. Now with Zynga joining the team and having millions of followers online they created limited edition items in four of their best games on Facebook. They created a WFP Food Farm in Empires & Allies, WFP Nutrition Center in Cityville, WFP Food Wagon on Farmville, and WFP Merino Sheep in The Pioneer Trail. Each items cost $5 each and it will be available between September 25 to October 31, 2011 only for those who wanted to purchased the limited edition Zynga items.
