It was totally great and fun especially for a first timer like me to join a run like with Rexona. At first I was so hesitated to join because I’ll be running at the 3K category with a friend and we thought we will look funny with an entry level category like that until we saw some participants who were same or more with our age running with us. So I said to myself, I want to do this and let the Rexona Run be my first marathon activity which I’ll be doing more in the future. Hundreds or even Thousands participated on the this running activity at the SM Mall of Asia last July 24, and according to Coach Rio — Rain or Shine we will run and luckily it was not raining that time but the breeze was cool so I did enjoyed the race. The race was meticulously planned by Coach Rio who was Rexona’s partner ever since they created the annual run.
Aside from the 3K category where I run, there were 5k, 10k and 21 K race that was open to all who were thirsty to try more adventure in running. Knowing it was a Rexona event, the adventure didn’t end with running alone instead they have this Rexona Hub where participants can try zip line, wall climbing, reverse bungee jumping and others to test their love for extreme adventure.
With all the fun and adventure that Rexona gave to all the participants of the event, they also ensure underarm protection from perspiration and odor as they give away samples of the Rexona Adventure deodorant in the race kits. With that it gives everyone more chance to enjoy all the activities without having the problem of underarm wetness and odor due to extreme activity that Rexona offered them.
With all the fun and adventure of this year’s Rexona Run and Hub, I am looking forward for more activities that they will be offering soon including the recap of the winners of the adventure packages they raffled in the event. See you guys next year and keep posted on the Rexona Run 2012!
