Last August 25, Blackberry Pilipinas (Philippines) organized a meet up among Blackberry users and aficionados in celebration of the release of the Blackberry Playbook in the country. The said event happened at the Marriott Hotel and it was participated by different personalities including Rovilson Fernandez who is the host of the event, Geral Ang who is the Head of Digital Marketing, Asia Pacific at Research In Motion (RIM), Rich Herrera, Rich Hardin, tech columnist in both online and broadsheets, bloggers and avid BB users.
I had the chance to play the Blackberry Playbook that is currently out now in the market. This 7.6 inches wide and 5.1 inches tall multimedia tablet of Blackberry only weighs 0.9 lbs or 425 grams and has the thickness of 0.4 inches or 10 mm. It has two cameras; 5mp (rear camera) and 3mp (front camera) and has 1080P HD screen for a crystal clear and high quality images for photos, videos and games. It also has HDMI connection for those who wanted to watch videos or play games on a bigger HDTV screen. It connects to the internet through WI-FI connection and has 1 GHz dual core processor for faster processing. The battery lasted up to 10 hours and connects to your Blackberry Smartphone through Bridge application.

As everyone is excited in the release of Blackberry Playbook along with the reign of Blackberry Smartphones in the market along with the affordable data plans which I am enjoying right now. Blackberry gives the freedom for social media aficionado like me to enjoy unlimited tweeting, facebook status, instant messaging through BBM and others like Yahoo and Gtalk wherever and whenever we wanted.
