As 7 Eleven celebrates another year of success including the opening of their 600th store here in the Philippines, Globe Telecom strengthens their partnership with them by creating a promo through their prepaid loading via Point of Sale (POS) counters. This promo will give Globe prepaid subscribers including the Globe Tattoo and Touch Mobile users to earn P7 more when they buy P70 load in 7 Eleven. This promo will begin on July 14 until August 14 and will take place between 7am to 11pm only.
With a faster and more reliable POS counters of 7 Eleven made by ECPay, the leading electronic payment infrastructure provider in the Philippines, they made credit loading to Globe Prepaid mobile and broadband users easier. The minimum loading amount via POS is P20 and the maximum is P150. The good thing with the POS, the buyer/client will have a copy of the receipt of his/her transaction that includes his/her mobile number where the load was transferred along with other basic information of 7 Eleven. With the receipt and POS it will lessen the possibility of sending the credit to the wrong number and both parties can monitor if the transfer was successfully done.
According to 7 Eleven, the most denomination of load credit purchased in their store was P50. And with their strong partnership Globe reached P16.5 Billion in terms of service revenue on the first half of 2011, which is 8% higher from last year. Right now the total number of active Globe Telecom and TM prepaid users already reach up to 26 Million which is 14% higher from last year.
