The stage is set for the most awaited Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai that will happen on June 22-July 8, 2011 at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta. In line with the countdown of the most awaited foreign acrobatic act that originates in Montreal, Canada presenters of the event raised the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau to signals the arrival of Varekai in Manila. Grand Chapiteau is the venue where Cirque du Soleil performers performed and it is also considered the mobile village where the production group stays along with their equipments during the performance week.
The Varekai already performed in different continents and countries like North America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Before arriving here in the Philippines they already performed in Taiwan and South Korea early this year.
