>The Ateneo Blue Eagles wins crown for the University Athletics Association Philippines (UAAP) Basketball game against Far Eastern University Tamaraws with 65-62 in favor with the Eagles. This is the 3rd straight championship of Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles where they battle against with De La Salle Green Archers in 71 and FEU Tamaraws in 72.
The ball game happens at the Araneta Coliseum on September 30, where Ateneo secured its championship title on the second game. One of the names that emerge during the game includes Ryan Buenafe that throws 3 point shots that give the edge for the Eagles.
