Warner Bros Pictures brings Yogi Bear to the big screen after its huge success in television for decades and became part of the lives of every child and generations Yogi Bear is based from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series to be released in the big screen by Warners beginning June 8, 2011 (Philippines) and Christmas Season (December 17, 2011 in other countries. It is directed by Eric Brevig and features the voices of Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear and Justine Timberlake as Boo Boo.
The 3-D live-action/CGI film follows the usual life of Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo Boo which we all recall in the cartoon snatching picnic basket of the families having their relaxing day at the Jellystone Park. With Tom Cavanagh as the infamous Ranger Smith, Yogi’s arch enemy and stops him from picnic basket snatching at the park they will be facing bad news at the same time that Mayor Brown (Andy Daly) will be closing and selling the land of Jellystone Park and the two enemies must work together to save their “home”.

Picture Yogi Bear trailer) As a huge fan of Hanna-Barbera cartoons with the likes of The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, The Jetsons and The Smurfs, I am ecstatic to see Yogi Bear in live action and on the big screen. The film also includes artist like Anna Faris (Rachel), T.J. Miller (Ranger Jones) and Christine Taylor (voice for Cindy Bear). Yogi Bear is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company and will be available on 3D and ordinary format.
