Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios knows how to bring out the child inside its moviegoers. What can I say, I enjoyed watching Toy Story 3 in IMAX 3D last night, not only with the sharp visuals but also the storyline itself. The computer animated 3D film (also available in 2D) officially opens today, June 17 in all theaters and IMAX cinemas nationwide. The film is directed by Lee Unkrich with voices of Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen).
The third installment of the Toy Story series is about the lives of the Andy’s toys now that he will be entering college and accidentally they were brought in Sunnyville Day Care Center with lots of kids, new toys and new adventure for Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang. But in the end the only lesson that every Toy Story movie gives to their viewers is about family and it was shown a lot on this year’s installment.
The storyline was great and it gives justice to the villains on why they became bad to let the younger audience understand all the characters which all are toys and it will be sensitive for them.
On the technical and visual side, all the effects are perfectly executed, the texture and sharpness of all the images, and for those who will be watching on 3D instead of sitting at back try watching at the 3rd to 6th row to appreciate the vividness and details of all the visuals in the movie.
Toy Story 3 includes voices of Joan Cusack (Jessie), Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Estelle Harris (Mrs. Potato Head), Wallace Shawn (Rex), John Ratzenberger (Hamm), and Michael Keaton (Ken). The movie also includes Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopi Goldberg. It is now showing in all cinemas nationwide distributed by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Pixar Animation Studios
