>Nurture the child in you beginning June 17 as Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar brings to the big screen and now on 3D the third installment of the Toy Story sequel – loaded with more fun, more adventures and more new toys. Toy Story 3 is directed by Lee Urkich, director of Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo, produced by Pixar veteran Darla K. Anderson the maker of Cars and Monster Inc., and written by the Academy Award winning screenwriter Michael Arndt the writer of Little Miss Sunshine.
The movie begins with Andy preparing for college and donates his toys to the daycare center along with Wood (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen). Compare with the first two installment of Toy Story that happens in the house of Andy, the 3rd sequel happens to a new world (daycare) with a larger new batch of toys and characters that all viewers will love. Having kids as part of the story it will give a bigger perspective to the toys’ adventure and at the same time it will add up on its appeal to the viewers both children and adults (who are young at heart).
Toy Story 3 will unite stellar vocal cast like Joan Cusack (Jessie), Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Estelle Harris (Mrs. Potato Head), Wallace Shawn (Rex), John Ratzenberger (Hamm), and Michael Keaton (Ken). The movie also includes Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopi Goldberg.
Toy Story 3 will be raising the bar of 3D animation, with a crispier and sharper visial graphics and sounds that will emphasize on the depth and dimensions of both storyline and visuals. “Our approach tends to use 3D as a window into the world so the audience can experience everything in depth,” Unkrich claimed.
Toy Story 3 will be shown in all theaters nationwide beginning June 17. The film distributed by by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Pixar Animation Studios.
