>As part of the LP (Liberal Party) for Change and Rock The Vote 2010: Road Trip for Change, May 2 will be one of the significant event for the political party of Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III as a presidential candidate for the 2010 election along with his vice presidential tandem Manuel “Mar”Roxas II and the twelve senatorial candidates; Neric Acosta, Martin Bautista, Ruffy Biazon, Frank Drilon, TG Guingona, Risa Hontiveros, Alex Lacson, Yasmin Lao, Danny Lim, Serge Osmeña, Ralph Recto and Sonia Roco.
Aside from the LP candidates joining the event there will be more activity that will happen from 4PM until midnight. There will be a PiNOY Run, a 2.5 K Fun Run that will start from Araneta Center at 4:30PM and ends at the People Power Monument. After the marathon the Kapit Bisig follows where a mass offering will be held at the monument at 5:30 PM and followed by a candle-lightning ceremony. After the mass and candle light the Rock The Vote 2010: Road trip for Change concert caravan follows with Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, Noel Cabangon, Mae Paner, The RCS Singers and Bands, Monstar88, Itchy Worms, Hale, Kamikaze, Fr. Arnold Arboleda and Parokya ni Edgar. Before during the actual event there will be art exhibits and on the street painting by artists from Art Association of the Philippines, Saturday Group, Art Wednesday, Tuesday Group and Bahaghari ng Malolos at 2PM in front of SM EDSA and all the artworks will be shown at the People Power Monument. Also at 3:30PM the United Skateboards will have their Solidarity Skate Jam, the 3rd leg of their Project Jordan Skate for a cause series at the White Plains Avenue near the People Power Monument.
The Araw na Dilaw event happens at the People Power Monument on May 2, a significant place for the Liberal Party especially with its presidential candidate, Noynoy Aquino because of his mother, the late former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino.
