>Last January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake strikes 14 miles west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti and damages infrastructures including the presidential office. The earthquake happens in the afternoon of Jan 12, Tuesday where it kills hundreds of Haitians including 36 United Nation Personnel. The earthquake left thousands of Haitians hurt and homeless due to the chaos that 7.0 magnitude quake cause. The earthquake that strikes Port-au-Prince was felt and caused panic in nearby countries including Dominican Republic. As of now United States President Barack Obama extended his help to the victims in Haiti Earthquake, while the United Nation World Food Program already sends food aid to the Haitians including the Energy Biscuit that they gave to the victims of Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng on the Philippines. The United Nations will be appealing to the governments and its members on how they can help the Haitians in their recovery from the recent tragedy caused by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake:

Philippine National Red Cross also accepts Cash Donations or by Checks just send it to the PNRC Headquarters in Manila, for checks please made it payable to The Philippine National Red Cross.
