No one knows what’s on the other side unless if you dare to reach it, 9 Works Theatrical Presents “Songs for a New World” offers more than a situational presentation on the stage of Carlos P. Romulo Theatre, RCBC Plaza, Ayala Avenue cor. Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City on May 1, 2, 8, and 9 (8:00 p.m.) and May 10 (3:30 p.m.).
The presentation is about people in their choices in life and how they acted on the consequence that follows it. Of course we are used with the theatrical production that has a big set up, but with this kind of play it that we don’t need extravagant set to compliment with the story, instead we should focus more in the hopes, sarcasm and resolution of each characters presents in their piece.
From dreams and making it real, from falling in love to running away from it, from death to give way to a new beginning, and learning every time we commit mistakes, the Song for a New World delivers this kind of message on how people take their actions, decisions and reacts on the results that came in their lives. And still as its main theme’s premise “A new world shattering the silence. There’s a new world I’m afraid to see. A new world louder every moment ” we still don’t know but only God has the answer for each one of us.
