The 2026 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival concluded its awards season with “Mono No Aware” and “Limlim” emerging as the top winners in the Full-Length and Student Shorts categories, respectively.
In the Full-Length category, the Japan-set drama “Mono No Aware” led the awards with nine wins, including Pinakapanalong Pelikula, Panalo sa International Jury, Panalong Direktor for BC Amparado, and Panalong Aktor for Juan Karlos Labajo. The film also received awards for Panalong Pangalawang Aktres for Momoko Kobayashi, Best Ensemble, Cinematography for TM Malones, Editing for Edmund Telmo, and Sound Design for Willie Apa Jr.
“Apol of My Ai,” “Multwoh (Patay na Patay Sa’yo),” and “Patay Gutom” each received four awards, while “Stuck on You” earned two honors.
Among the notable winners were Xyriel Manabat, who received Panalong Aktres for her performance in “Stuck on You,” and young Zion Cruz, who won Panalong Child Performer for “Apol of My Ai.” Zanjoe Marudo also took home Panalong Pangalawang Aktor.
The Student Shorts category saw a close competition between “Limlim” and “Kun Hain, Bisan Diin.” Both films finished the awards night with four wins each, including a tie for Panalong Direktor between Samantha Palaje for “Limlim” and Jomarie Corro-Reyes for “Kun Hain, Bisan Diin.”
“Limlim” ultimately took the category’s top prize, winning Pinakapanalong Maikling Pelikula, capping its strong showing at the 2026 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival Awards Night.
